After that, I went on a trip to Thailand. IT WAS LIKE OMG SUPER AWESOME FOODZ!!! O_O I ate so much mango and sticky rice there!! So...delicious...
After that trip, My dad, my brother, and I went on our annual trip to alaska to go fishing. It was a blast! We were there for 3 nights and 2 days. The first day of fishing, we woke up at 4:30 to meet our captain at the docks. On the way out to the open seas, the water was just so calm...it was amazing. There was also a dense fog that blocked your view after 20ft. Later on at ~6:00AM the fog started to clear up and then I saw one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. The water was still extremely calm, like if you were to fill a cup with water and leave it on your desk in front of you and not touch it, that's how calm it was. Anyways, the natural scenery around us only added to the dream-like scene we were staring at. And to add to this already amazing scene, there was a pod of whales in the distance playing in the water. It was like I was in one of the post-card scenes, except 12983219831729 times better. Back to the story: We went out fishing til around 7 at night. We caught ~100lbs of fish that day, mostly halibut and one lingcod. When we got back to land, I was so sore from pulling all the fish up from the depths of the ocean that I had a hard time just washing my face. The next day, the soreness was a little better and we went out again at 5 this time. The ocean wasn't as calm the next day, but the fog had returned. We fished only til ~4:00PM this time, but my brother and i caught two big (for a californian, to an alaskan they were still babies O_O'
Today my family and I just saw my brother off to college. I'm kinda sad about it, but I've realized that it's not like I'm never going to see him again. He goes to a school only about an hour away from where we live. Anyways, that concludes my summer. EXCEPT THAT I HAVE TWO PARTIES TO GO TO IN THE NEXT FEW DAYS!!! WHOOOO!! Hope y'all had a great summer and have a great school year!
(wow...this is really long... *thats what she said)

I put the laughter in slaughter, the fun in funerals, and take out the the in psychotherapist.
The cake may lie but my hips sure don't.
